LNPE Cosmetic, which owns the Mediheal brand, announced on the 3rd that it has recruited Choi Hye-yong, a former Rookie of the Year on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, as a mentor. The Mediheal Golf Team is engaged in various activities to nurture junior golf players. Since last year, it has hosted the Mediheal KLPGA Chairman’s Cup Women’s Amateur Championship. The winner and runner-up of the tournament, Jung Ji-hyo and Jo Hye-ji, received full tour cards for the 2025 regular tour.
A Mediheal Junior Mentoring Program was established to select six top middle school students and provide them with very special benefits. As a mentor, Choi Hye-yong offers field lessons and course strategies through practical rounds. She is a player who has won two career victories on the KLPGA Tour. In June 2008, she won her first career title at the 1st Lotte Mart Happy Dream Cup Women’s Open on the MBC Tour, earning the Rookie of the Year title.
Mediheal is also leading sponsorships in other sports, including hosting the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour and KLPGA Tour events, as well as sponsoring the KBO Futures League title. It is actively involved in donation activities through the Mediheal Foundation and Mediheal Scholarship Foundation. Since 2022, Mediheal has sponsored the KLPGA Tour Mediheal Hankook Ilbo Championship. This year, the event will be held for four days starting August 14 at Montvert CC in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province.
