Operation of Hotel Laundry Plant 2 Equipped with Automated Facilities
Uisikju Company, which operates Lundrigo Hotel & Business, announced on the 3rd that it has signed a laundry contract with the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, surpassing a cumulative total of 10,000 rooms and securing the largest number of hotel rooms among domestic hotel laundry companies.
Lundrigo Hotel & Business recently signed a hotel laundry contract with the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, a domestic 5-star hotel, securing an additional 550 rooms. In particular, after conducting more than three audits on laundry quality, hygiene, and ESG (environment, social, and governance) management, Lundrigo Hotel & Business received the highest scores.
Lundrigo Hotel & Business is applying Lundrigo’s smart factory technology and know-how to the hotel laundry sector, building a large-scale automated laundry factory, innovating the entire laundry process by replacing the existing analog hotel laundry operation method with IT technology.
Additionally, since the second factory equipped with the latest automated facilities and covering an area of 5,000㎡ began operation last November, the daily laundry processing volume has expanded from 25 tons to 75 tons. Lundrigo Hotel & Business plans to target the domestic hotel laundry market worth 3 trillion KRW with a rental model that offers excellent cost and quality competitiveness based on the laundry automation system.
Jeon Insu, head of the Lundrigo Hotel & Business division, said, “Lundrigo has achieved remarkable results, including becoming the number one market share holder in the hotel laundry market within three years of entering the industry following mobile laundry,” and added, “We will solidify our position as a leader in the laundry industry not only in B2B laundry but also in the rental market.”
