Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Awards Ceremony for Community Service Activity Program Competition

Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) selected and awarded outstanding volunteer teams at the award ceremony of the ‘2024 Junior College Innovation Support Project Volunteer Activity Program Competition’ held on the 26th of last year in the main building’s large conference room.

This competition was an opportunity to share the achievements of volunteer activities conducted by department-based volunteer teams from July to November, tailored to the characteristics of each department, in order to coexist with the local community.

A total of 10 teams from 6 departments participated in the competition, with 1 Grand Prize, 1 Excellence Award, 3 Merit Awards, and 5 Encouragement Awards selected. The Grand Prize was awarded to the Nursing Department’s ‘Maeummoa Team.’ This team was recognized for conducting campaigns and volunteer activities related to South Korea’s population issues, contributing to raising social awareness about population policies.

The Excellence Award went to the Physical Therapy Department’s ‘Yeolundong Donguisijyo Team,’ and the Merit Awards were given to the Nursing Department’s ‘Silver Buzz Team,’ the Fire Safety Management Department’s ‘Fire Volunteer Team,’ and the Medical Skin Care Department’s ‘Dongpijang 7th Team.’ The Encouragement Awards were awarded to the Nursing Department’s ‘DNA Team’ and ‘Donghaeng Team,’ the Early Childhood Education Department’s ‘Aisarang Team,’ the Emergency Medical Service Department’s ‘EMS Team,’ and the Nursing Department’s ‘Haeyangjikimi Team.’

President Kim Young-do said, "Many students actively participated in volunteer activities for local residents," adding, "We will continue to carry out volunteer activities that practice sharing and consideration and contribute to the development of the local community."
