Timefolio Asset Management announced on the 3rd that the TIMEFOLIO US S&P500 Active ETF recorded a 66% return last year.
It explained that among ETFs tracking the S&P500 index, it had the highest return. It outperformed the S&P500 Leveraged ETF, which rose 46% during the same period.
The TIMEFOLIO US S&P500 Active ETF is an active ETF that evenly diversifies investments across large-cap US stocks, financial stocks, and consumer goods companies. Last year, it achieved performance by timely adjusting weights in leading US large-cap stocks such as Nvidia and Tesla, as well as emerging consumer stocks like ON Holdings and ELI LILLY. Proving its active ETF management capability, it gained attention as the preferred ETF for retirement and personal pension accounts that cannot invest in leveraged ETFs.
Jang-Sangjun Cho, Deputy General Manager of Timefolio Asset Management, said, "Global investment banks (IB) expect the S&P500 index to remain strong this year," adding, "The strengthening of protectionism and the tax cut policy lowering corporate tax to 15% are factors that increase the investment attractiveness of the S&P500, which has a high proportion of large US companies."
