According to the Korea Financial Investment Association, the net assets of Woori High Plus Bond Securities Investment Trust No.1 (hereinafter referred to as Woori High Plus Bond) reached 2.085 trillion KRW, ranking first in net asset size among domestic public offering funds (excluding ETFs and MMFs) as of last year. The net increase also showed an overwhelming growth trend in the public fund market, amounting to 1.2 trillion KRW.

‘Woori High Plus Bond’ is a fund that pursues stable interest income through a portfolio mainly composed of credit bonds. By flexibly adjusting duration, it seeks excess returns from the duration effect in addition to interest income from bond investments.

Along with this, the ‘Woori Short-Term Bond’ fund also grew nearly 1 trillion KRW in net assets last year, expanding its size to 1.7524 trillion KRW. Even amid increased volatility in the domestic bond market, Woori Asset Management’s representative bond funds maintained excellent performance, upholding the pride of the ‘bond powerhouse.’

Kim Dong-hwan, Head of Bond Management at Woori Asset Management, said, “Thanks to the interest and trust of investors, both the High Plus Bond and Short-Term Bond funds were able to grow together,” adding, “We will continue to provide greater value to investors with a strategy that flexibly responds to market conditions while pursuing both stability and profitability.”
