Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 2nd that a joint memorial altar was set up on the first floor of the Hanam City Hall main building to mourn the victims of the passenger plane accident that occurred on the 29th.

The city prepared a separate memorial space to mourn the tragic sacrifice of the accident victims and to facilitate citizens' condolences. Mayor Lee Hyun-jae visited the altar on the morning of the 1st to pay tribute to the victims with flower offerings and a moment of silence.
Mayor Lee Hyun-jae said, “I pray for the souls of the victims who lost their lives in the passenger plane accident and extend my deepest condolences to the bereaved families going through this difficult time.”
The city’s joint memorial altar will be open from the 1st to the 4th during the national mourning period, with visiting hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
