Lee Kang-cheon, President of the Korea Certified Judicial Scrivener Association, announced that this year the association will focus on proposing amendments to the Certified Judicial Scrivener Act and pushing for the passage of amendments to the Special Act on Real Estate Registration in the National Assembly.
At the 2025 New Year's ceremony held on the morning of the 2nd in the large conference room on the 7th floor of the Judicial Scrivener Hall in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul, President Lee outlined the association's key priorities for this year as ▲ proposing amendments to the Certified Judicial Scrivener Act and promoting the passage of amendments to the Special Act on Real Estate Registration ▲ legislating the registration of housing lease rights ▲ implementing efficient on-site and online training for the future registration system.
The ceremony was attended by the association's executive team, expert committee members, and secretariat staff.
Attendees observed a moment of silence to mourn the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster and pledged a new leap forward for the judicial scrivener profession in the new year.
In his New Year's address, President Lee stated, "Last year, we laid the foundation of the organization through trial and error, and based on this, we will make this year a year of achieving our goals through stable operation," emphasizing communication and harmony between the association and its members.
He also urged, "To protect the rights and interests of the public and secure work convenience for judicial scrivener members, let us strengthen organizational capabilities and advance into a more solid association through harmony among members."
