Dongmyung University recently announced on the 2nd that it has signed an agreement with Busan International Film High School to strengthen educational cooperation in the advanced K-music and video entertainment fields.
Busan International Film High School is a specialized high school focused on training personnel in film, video graphics, and hair design, cultivating world-class K-entertainment content experts suitable for the international city of Busan.
The agreement ceremony held on December 30 last year was attended by Gam Young-hee, Dean of Dongmyung University's Do-ing College; Kim Chang-gil, Principal of Busan International Film High School; Lee Woo-young, Head of Dongmyung University's Department of Entertainment Arts; and Kim Moon-joo, Vice Principal of Busan International Film High School. Also present were Lee Kyu-man, Professor of Dongmyung University's Department of Entertainment Arts; Go Myung-gyu, Head of Specialized Education at Busan International Film High School; and Kim Hee-kyung, a Dongmyung University student and graduate of Busan International Film High School.
Principal Kim Chang-gil said, "This agreement is for nurturing differentiated artistic content talents in the region," adding, "We will support sharing educational methodologies and creative ideas suitable for the creative K-entertainment industry structure."
Dean Gam Young-hee of Do-ing College stated, "At the recent 1st Dongmyung University President's Award Middle and High School Band Competition, seven students from International Film High School advanced to the finals and won awards, demonstrating remarkable achievements and potential," and added, "We will continue to expand specialized career education projects related to entertainment for local youth."
Dongmyung University has signed an educational agreement on K-music, video, and entertainment with Busan International Film High School.
