"2025 is the First Year of Globalization of Research"

Lee Dong-hoon, President of SK Biopharm, stated that "2025 will be the inaugural year of globalizing research" and announced the goal of reorganizing the global research and development (R&D) network.

In his New Year's address on the 2nd, President Lee said that this year they will systematically reorganize the R&D network connecting Korea, the United States, Asia, and Europe, and focus on acquiring top-level research capabilities.

He said, "2025 will be a year to unite the changes and challenges of the past few years into one and achieve a bigger and bolder leap," adding, "We must realize the essential goal of innovative new drug development and improving patients' quality of life through optimal decisions."

He continued, "We will respond to rapid changes based on a strong yet flexible organization," and added, "This year will be a turning point for advancing into a global company."
