[New Year's Message] Yoon Hong-geun, BBQ Chairman, "Growth with a Persevering Attitude Amid Uncertainty"

Yoon Hong-geun, Chairman of Genesis BBQ Group, emphasized in his New Year's address, "In the midst of domestic and international uncertainties and crises, let us grow with the attitude of ‘Yujigyeongseong (有志竟成·Where there is a will, there is a way).”


On the 1st, Chairman Yoon held a New Year's ceremony at the Chicken University in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, and pledged to make this year, the 30th anniversary of the company's founding, an important year that serves as a foundation for a leap toward becoming the world’s number one franchise company by adhering to principles and basics.

Chairman Yoon evaluated, “Despite the management environment challenges such as geopolitical conflicts and financial market instability last year, we established ourselves as a representative brand that promotes Korean culture worldwide, including advertising our brand in New York’s Times Square.”


Chairman Yoon declared that Genesis BBQ Group will lead the ‘borderless experience economy’ going forward. He emphasized the need to provide services that leverage BBQ’s unique stories and strengths for consumers who desire experiences filled with stories beyond simple consumption.


Chairman Yoon said, “Genesis BBQ Group has grown based on BBQ’s unique DNA of distinguishing crises as risks and opportunities and finding opportunities within crises. Now, as we welcome new customers in a rapidly changing environment, our organization must undergo corresponding changes.” He added, “As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of our founding this year, let us unite and take a new leap forward with the attitude of Yujigyeongseong.”


Meanwhile, prior to the New Year's ceremony, Chairman Yoon expressed his condolences regarding the passenger plane accident that occurred at Muan Airport. He prayed for the souls of the deceased and conveyed messages of comfort to the bereaved families.
