Lee Cheong, CEO of Samsung Display, referred to 2025 as a 'major turning point for business expansion' and presented 'A.C.E' as the management keyword.

On the 2nd, Lee conveyed the '2025 Management Message' to all employees through an internal email and announced this.

He stated, "This year is more important than ever to achieve ▲completion of foldable technology ▲securing mass production technology for 8.6G IT OLED ▲expansion of IT and Auto businesses," adding, "However, due to factors such as intensified trade barriers, delayed economic recovery, and increased competition, uncertainty will also be higher than ever."

Lee emphasized that the most fundamental and important element at this strategic turning point is 'A.C.E.' 'A.C.E' stands for 'swift and perfect execution (Action)', 'customer-first value (Customer)', and 'securing differentiated technology (Excellence)'.

The first management keyword, 'Excellence (Technology)', means building entry barriers that competitors cannot easily overcome by having differentiated performance and manufacturing competitiveness based on accumulated know-how and technology, discovering new technologies that can value-up existing products, and thoroughly preparing future technologies to have a system that can commercialize products at the market's desired timing.

The second keyword, 'Customer', means securing leadership with technology that aligns with customer value, and having all departments deeply study the market and technology and engage in intense discussions to discover and proactively propose customer needs that even customers have not identified.

The third keyword, 'Action (Execution)', refers to leaders taking the lead in fostering a growth-oriented organizational culture to create an environment where horizontal communication and collaboration, as well as fast decision-making, are possible to realize the first two keywords.

Lee concluded, "Based on the fundamental philosophy of 'starting with technology, continuing with customers, and completing with execution,' let us all harmoniously and wisely overcome difficulties and make 2025 a year of growth to the next level."
