Yeongju City is recruiting members for the "3rd Yeongju City Youth Policy Council" from the 2nd to the 31st, targeting talents who will collaboratively create local youth policies.
The recruitment target is youth aged between 19 and 39 who are registered residents of Yeongju City or are active in universities, workplaces (business sites), or non-profit organizations located in the city. The activity period is from the appointment date until December 31, 2026.
Selected members will belong to subcommittees such as △Employment △Housing △Education △Culture & Welfare △Participation & Rights, where they will play a role in discovering and proposing policy agendas. Additionally, through practical activities such as gathering opinions, monitoring, participating in city administration activities, and promotion, they will ensure that the voices of youth are reflected in city governance.
Geum Won-seop, Director of the Employment and Economy Division, said, "We will listen carefully to the voices of youth so that they can actively participate in city administration by discovering various youth policies." He added, "We hope for the active participation of young people who have interest and passion for youth policies."
The Yeongju City Youth Policy Council was launched in March 2021 as a youth participation communication body to expand youth communication and participation in the policy implementation process. Currently, up to the 2nd term, it has been actively engaged through workshops and academies for the Youth Policy Council.
