The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA announced on the 2nd that they will operate the Integrated Korea Pavilion at 'CES 2025 (Consumer Electronics Show)' held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 7th to the 10th (local time).

CES is the world's largest IT and home appliance exhibition. The Ministry and KOTRA will collaborate with 36 organizations to form the largest-ever Integrated Korea Pavilion with 445 companies. This year, Korea is expected to participate with about 900 companies, including global conglomerates such as Samsung, LG, Hyundai, and SK, 445 companies in the Integrated Korea Pavilion, and about 455 other small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Integrated Korea Pavilion will include a total of 36 organizations including KOTRA, with 445 domestic companies participating, such as 308 companies in Eureka Park (Innovation Pavilion) and 137 companies in the Global Pavilion (National Pavilion). About 45% of all Korean participating companies are export-oriented Korea teams, and the main exhibition sectors of the Integrated Korea Pavilion are household appliances (18%), digital health (17%), artificial intelligence (16%), and smart home (12%).

Before the exhibition opens, KOTRA will hold a 'Local Expert Invitation Seminar' on the 6th to provide the latest information to participating companies. Speakers at this seminar include the head of the industry analysis team of CTA (Consumer Technology Association), the organizer of CES, and the managing director of Morgan Stanley USA, who will deliver vivid information on the outlook for the US consumer electronics market, startup trends, and financial investment attraction methods. According to CTA, more than 300 of the Global Fortune 500 companies have registered for CES 2025.

Also, on the 8th, in collaboration with the US local accelerator Startup-Junkie, a pitching event called the 'K-Innovation Pitching Challenge' will be held for our innovative companies. Twenty innovative companies pre-matched with the technology demand (Open Innovation) of global companies will take the stage to pitch to major US global companies such as Walmart, JB Hunt, and IBM. After the pitching, a networking reception will be held consecutively, providing in-depth business opportunities for our startups.

Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Ahn Deok-geun said, "Despite the difficult domestic political situation, forming the largest-ever Integrated Korea Pavilion for two consecutive years at a global exhibition like CES has demonstrated the strength of export-oriented Korea teams that become stronger in times of crisis," and added, "We will continue to strive to maintain external credibility and export momentum."

KOTRA President Kang Kyung-sung said, "CES 2025, the world's largest consumer electronics exhibition, is not only an opportunity to discover business opportunities but also a great chance to check the latest technology trends," and added, "KOTRA will actively support so that the innovative achievements discovered at CES lead to actual exports."
