Beyond Jebongsan Mountain in Jangseong County, Jeollanam-do, the radiant light of the new year of Eulsanyeon unfolded. As sunlight seeped into the frost-covered banks of Hwangryonggang River and the reed fields, the whole world seemed to forget the cold and warmly welcome strangers.
