[New Year's Message] Ryugyeonggi Jungnang-gu Mayor "Hopeful 2025! Continuing the Leap and Growth of 'My Pride, Our Jungnang'"

Dear residents of Jungnang-gu and readers of Asia Economy! Happy New Year.

Our Jungnang-gu is raising pride in "My Pride, Our Jungnang" and realizing the new dreams of Jungnang one by one. We are advancing toward becoming the best educational city by making large-scale investments in education and expanding educational infrastructure such as media centers, and steadily carrying out low-rise residential area development projects in 28 locations, the most in Seoul.

Also, with changes in the transportation environment such as the construction of the Myeonmok Line light rail, confidence in the future is growing.

In the new year, we will fully implement Jungnang-gu’s independent welfare brand, "Jungnang Donghaeng Sarangnet." Through this, we will create a warm city where 400,000 people help 400,000 people, a tightly knit welfare city, a city that respects the elderly and raises children well, and a warm community that shares affection with neighbors.

For the local economy, we will support traditional markets and alleyway shopping districts, and strive to create jobs by building the Fashion Support Center and Jungnang Startup Support Center. In the new year, the Myeonmok-dong Library, Jungnang Startup Support Center, and Junghwa 2-dong Complex Building will open newly along with the 2nd Bang Jeong-hwan Education Support Center. We will unite our efforts to successfully complete ongoing housing development projects and work hard to secure roads, parking lots, and parks.

In 2025, we will continue to listen carefully to the voices of residents on site and work together to make Jungnang-gu an even better place to live. We extend our deep respect and gratitude to the residents of Jungnang-gu who have accompanied the amazing changes in Jungnang.
