Prosecutors Conduct Search and Seizure at Ministry of National Defense Investigation Headquarters and 2nd Armored Brigade over 'Election Commission Occupation and Staff Arrest Attempt'

The prosecution investigating the 12·3 emergency martial law incident has begun a forced investigation into the Ministry of National Defense Investigation Headquarters and the 2nd Armored Brigade.

The Prosecution Emergency Martial Law Special Investigation Headquarters (Head: Park Se-hyun, Chief Prosecutor of Seoul High Prosecutors' Office) announced on the 31st that they are conducting searches and seizures of offices and residences of personnel related to the Ministry of National Defense Investigation Headquarters and the 2nd Armored Brigade.

The prosecution is known to have launched an investigation related to charges including the occupation of the Election Commission and attempts to arrest key staff during the emergency martial law period.
