Dong-Eui Institute of Technology conducted free health check-ups for international students and Korean language trainees in collaboration with Dong-Eui Medical Center from November 19 to December 20.

This health check-up was organized to promote the health and systematic management of international students. The total number of examinees was 275, including 172 international students enrolled in foreign-friendly departments and 103 language trainees at the Korean Language Education Center.
The check-ups were held every Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the general examination room on the 4th floor of Dong-Eui Medical Center. The main examination items included blood tests, hepatitis B tests, imaging tests, and oral examinations.
This health check-up provided international students with an opportunity to assess and manage their health in advance. In particular, it is expected to help with early disease detection and prevention, thereby reducing difficulties caused by health issues during their study abroad period.
Additionally, through the cooperation between the institute and Dong-Eui Medical Center, international students were able to receive high-quality medical services.
Kim Young-do, President of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, stated, “Through this health check-up, we hope that international students can systematically manage their health and continue a safer and more satisfying study abroad experience.” He added, “The school will do its best to enhance the welfare of international students.”
