Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) is recruiting new resident companies for the Dobong-gu Youth Startup Center in 2025.

Opened in May this year, the Dobong-gu Youth Startup Center is a facility that provides young people with startup spaces and systematic customized startup programs. In its first year, it selected and nurtured 18 resident companies.

Next year, around 7 companies will be selected. This is due to the departure of existing resident companies.

The recruitment fields are ▲advanced future industries (eco-friendly, energy, etc.) ▲creative industries (extended reality (XR), video, one-person media, etc.) ▲local community problem-solving fields (care, culture, design, etc.), totaling three categories.

The eligibility for residency is young people aged 19 to 45 who reside or have their living base in Dobong-gu, and who are either prospective entrepreneurs able to register a business within 3 months from the announcement date or early-stage entrepreneurs with less than 3 years of experience.

Final selection will be made through a first-round document screening and a second-round presentation evaluation. The results will be individually notified on January 17. The residency period is from January 20, 2025, to December 31, 2025.

In addition to providing residency space, various benefits are offered upon moving in. Benefits include space support such as use of education rooms, smart meeting rooms, and filming studios; opportunities to participate in startup management programs; expert consultation support; and business support funds.

The document submission period is until January 8, and detailed information such as application methods can be found in the announcement posted on the Dobong-gu Youth Startup Center website.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “I hope that young people with excellent startup ideas can freely realize their dreams and visions for entrepreneurship at the Dobong-gu Youth Startup Center. We ask for many applications from interested young people.”
