Dangjin City in Chungnam received a great response after implementing the 'Dangjin-Style Character Education Visiting Schools' program for 1,570 elementary, middle, and high school students from September to December this year.
For the Dangjin-style character education, local character education experts visited schools and provided classroom-based character education sessions under the theme of 'Communication and Relationship Building.'
Each session was conducted with four subtopics: understanding myself, understanding each other, understanding differences, and building good relationships.
An official from an elementary school said, "The Dangjin-style character education consisted of content and activities appropriate for the students' level. Thanks to this, it was a great class that encouraged student communication and participation while fostering character."
A Dangjin City official stated, "We plan to further expand support for Dangjin-style character education in 2025," and added, "We will continue to support various educational programs so that students can grow into healthy and upright members of society."
