Hanam-si Holds '2025 Dialogue with Residents' in 14 Districts for Close Communication with Citizens

Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 30th that it will hold the "2025 Dialogue with Residents" to share major policies for 2025 with citizens and gather opinions for the development of city administration, embarking on a two-week communication campaign.

The dialogue with residents is an opportunity for the mayor and senior officials to hear voices from the field up close. It serves as a communication platform to reflect opinions derived from candid conversations with citizens into city administration, promoting policies that citizens can truly feel.

Starting from Choi-dong on January 9, the dialogue sessions will tour 14 neighborhoods. Since the age groups and occupations of participants vary by region, sessions will be held not only during weekday daytime but also in the evenings and on weekends to increase citizen participation.

In addition, unnecessary formalities will be simplified, and live broadcasts via Hanam City Hall’s YouTube channel will enable real-time citizen participation and communication.

In fact, during last year’s dialogue with residents, the cumulative number of viewers for the YouTube replay reached around 10,000, demonstrating the effectiveness of improved citizen participation methods.

Meanwhile, starting from December 31, the city plans to expand communication by recruiting general citizens interested in city administration, in addition to members of related organizations, to participate in the neighborhood dialogues.
