"New Year's Blessings Gently Flowing to Your Side"
Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 30th that it will distribute mobile New Year's greeting cards to citizens for free to celebrate the New Year.
This New Year's greeting card was created using Pocheon's representative characters ‘Oseong and Haneum’ and ‘Pouri,’ incorporating the energy of the blue snake, a symbol of wisdom and hope.
The New Year's greeting cards come in four types and can be freely used in various ways such as KakaoTalk, social networking services (SNS), and text messages.
The greeting cards can be downloaded from the Pocheon City website under the sections: Introduction to Pocheon - Symbols of Pocheon - Mobile Cards - 2025 New Year's Greeting Cards.
Lee Jin-hee, Public Relations Officer, said, “As we welcome the New Year 2025, we hope citizens share hopeful messages with Pocheon's representative characters and wish for a prosperous year ahead,” adding, “We expect the greeting cards to serve as an opportunity for harmony and communication among citizens.”
