BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) visited the local military unit in Busan, the Army 53rd Infantry Division, to deliver consolation money in celebration of the year-end.
Since 2008, Busan Bank has visited local military units every year to encourage the efforts of soldiers defending the nation. This time as well, they expressed their gratitude by delivering consolation money. Busan Bank plans to continue its visits early next year to the Navy Operations Command and the Air Force 5th Air Mobility Wing to offer further support.
President Bang Seong-bin said, "We express our gratitude to the soldiers who contribute to regional development through national defense and numerous civil support volunteer activities," adding, "We will continue to promote various social contribution projects for the development of local military units and the community."
Since 2009, Busan Bank has donated ‘Love Sharing Funds’ every year during the Month of Patriots and Veterans to honor national merit recipients and their families. Since last May, the bank has been running the ‘Modu Ae (Love) Brunch’ project, providing meals every Tuesday to elderly veterans' families.
