Gangwon-do, Joint Memorial Altar for 'Passenger Plane Accident Victims' Established at Provincial Office

Annex 4th Floor Conference Room at Provincial Government Office... Open from 3 PM

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) announced on the 30th that it will operate a joint memorial altar in the large conference room on the 4th floor of the annex building of the Gangwon Provincial Office from 3 PM on the 30th to mourn the victims of the Jeju Air passenger plane accident at Muan Airport.

The memorial altar will be open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, allowing Gangwon residents to freely express their condolences.


Governor Kim Jin-tae and other provincial office executives plan to visit the memorial altar at 3 PM to pay their respects to the victims.


Governor Kim expressed his sorrow for the victims of this accident and urged, “Public officials should observe a solemn and calm attitude during the mourning period.”
