Approximately 46 Million KRW Donated to Seoul Yeontan Bank This Year
Supporting Energy-Vulnerable Groups with 50,000 Yeontan Briquettes

Golfzon Newdin Group announced on the 30th that Chairman Kim, along with his family, donated approximately 46 million KRW from the 'Neighbor Love Birdie Fund' to the Seoul Briquette Bank of the Bapsang Community Welfare Foundation. The fund was accumulated throughout this year by collecting money each time a birdie or better score and an age suit were recorded during golf rounds. Chairman Kim has been continuing this unique donation activity to help vulnerable groups in the local community for five years. The accumulated funds amounted to 52 million KRW in 2020, 46 million KRW in 2021, 60 million KRW in 2022, and 50 million KRW in 2023, totaling over 250 million KRW over five years.
Chairman Kim’s Neighbor Love Birdie Fund will be used through the Seoul Briquette Bank to donate 50,000 briquettes to energy-vulnerable households living in Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Chairman Kim said, "I am pleased that the hearts of my family and I are being delivered as warm energy to our neighbors in need around us," adding, "I will continue happy donation activities and strive to spread a culture of sharing and consideration in our society."
Golfzon Newdin Group is actively engaged in social contribution activities in Gangnam-gu, where Golfzon Tower Seoul is located. Since 2016, it has conducted company-wide volunteer activities during winter for vulnerable groups in the Suseo area of Gangnam-gu. In 2019 and 2023, the group received certificates of appreciation from the Gangnam District Office in recognition of its efforts for the local community.
Golfzon Newdin Group started as the screen golf venture company ‘Golfzon’ in May 2000 and celebrated its 24th anniversary this year. Beyond the screen golf business, it has expanded into golf course operations, golf equipment distribution, GDR Academy, and golf platforms, establishing itself as a global golf platform company. It also carries out diverse social contribution projects such as discovering and supporting youth golf players, hosting golf tournaments for people with disabilities, promoting cultural and artistic development, and supporting vulnerable groups.
