Natural gas futures ETNs are showing strong performance.
As of 9:21 AM on the 30th, in the KOSPI market, Hana Bloomberg 2X Natural Gas Futures ETN(H) B was trading at 5,975 KRW, up 875 KRW (17.16%) from the previous trading day.
Shinhan Bloomberg 2X Natural Gas Futures ETN was trading at 7,865 KRW, up 1,135 KRW (16.86%) as of 9:26 AM compared to the previous trading day.
Daishin S&P 2X Natural Gas Futures ETN B was trading at 7,895 KRW, up 1,105 KRW (16.27%) as of 9:28 AM from the previous trading day.
Concerns are rising that Ukraine's decision to halt the transportation of Russian natural gas starting January 1 next year (local time) will put upward pressure on natural gas prices not only in Europe but globally.
