Murim received perfect scores in five evaluation categories?first impression, content composition, design, creativity, information delivery, and relevance?earning the Grand Prize (Platinum). The differentiated report structure and ESG strategy attracted the attention of the global judging panel. At the same time, Murim was recognized for its ESG management achievements by ranking 14th in the 'Global Top 100,' which selects the top 100 best reports worldwide.

This sustainability management report newly introduced a 'double materiality assessment' that comprehensively evaluates environmental, social, and financial impacts, identifying three core issues: 'climate change response,' 'sustainable product and technology development,' and 'strengthening workplace safety and health management,' thereby enhancing ESG risk response capabilities. It also calculated and disclosed indirect greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 3) generated throughout the entire process from production to distribution and disposal, earning recognition as a differentiated ESG report.

Meanwhile, Murim is also standing out in major domestic ESG evaluations. Murim P&P received the highest grade of A in the paper industry in this year's Korea Corporate Governance Service (KCGS) evaluation, and recorded AA grades in both the first and second halves of the year in the SustainBest ESG evaluation.

Lee Do-kyun, CEO of Murim, stated, "Through this award, we were able to reaffirm Murim's global ESG leadership. We will continue to transparently disclose key ESG management achievements, strengthen communication with stakeholders, and take the lead in practical ESG management and climate change response as an industry-leading company."
