Philip Goldberg, the U.S. Ambassador to Korea, posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, "I was deeply saddened to hear the news of the (passenger plane accident)," adding, "I extend my deepest condolences to the victims and their families, and stand with the Korean people during this difficult time."
Diving, the newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Korea as of the 27th, also stated on his X account, "I feel profound sorrow," and "The Chinese Embassy stands in solidarity with the Republic of Korea during this challenging period."
Colin Crooks, the British Ambassador to Korea, expressed on his X account, "I offer my deepest condolences to all the victims and their families of the tragic aviation accident that occurred today in Muan."
Murat Tamer, the Turkish Ambassador to Korea, also expressed his condolences and stated that he stands in solidarity with the Korean people during this difficult time.
