CES is the world's largest home appliance and information technology exhibition, where over 4,500 IT companies worldwide showcase cutting-edge technologies and share business directions and industry trends. It will be held for four days from January 7 to 10 next year in Las Vegas, USA. This event is scheduled to feature exhibitions from companies related to ▲AI ▲sustainability ▲startups ▲quantum computing ▲energy transition.

LG Uplus has formed a delegation of in-house AI experts to strengthen core competencies for becoming an AX company and to discover new business partners. The delegation will visit the site led by Lee Sang-yeop, LG Uplus CTO (Chief Technology Officer, Executive Vice President), along with Choi Yoon-ho, LG Uplus AI Agent Promotion Group Leader (Senior Vice President), who oversees AI-based product and service development.

The delegation will tour exhibition halls of telecommunications and home appliance companies to explore business cooperation plans for enhancing AX capabilities and discovering business partners. In particular, they plan to focus on cases where AI technology is applied in mobile, home Internet of Things (IoT), and enterprise customer products, aiming to derive improvement directions for their own AI 'ixi'.

Additionally, they will participate in conferences of related companies to establish strategies and advance the service roadmap for AI agents such as 'ixio', which was launched last November. Through this, the strategy is to confirm global AI technology trends while discovering promising companies possessing AI technologies.

CTO Lee said, "We decided to attend CES 2025 to advance the AI agents currently being prepared along with ixio," adding, "We will visit booths of various global operators to assess current technological capabilities and plan a more developed service roadmap to launch competitive products."
