Model Moon Gabi (35), who has an out-of-wedlock child with actor Jung Woo-sung (51), has spoken out for the first time.

On the 28th, Moon Gabi opened up through her social media (SNS), saying, "There are countless unfounded rumors and speculative reports about the child." She continued, "I chose the path of silence for everyone's sake, but I was not protected, and ultimately, to protect the child, I decided to publicly post on my personal SNS," explaining the reason for her statement.

She first denied allegations that she became pregnant without officially dating Jung Woo-sung and demanded marriage for child support.

Moon said, "Since we met at a gathering in 2022, we got to know each other more deeply and continued a good relationship, and our meetings continued until the last day of 2023," adding, "Since a certain day in January 2024, I have not met the person who is the father of the child even once, and I have never demanded marriage or anything else from him due to the pregnancy."

Regarding the suspicion that she gave birth alone without any agreement, she also refuted, saying, "Meeting the child who came as an unexpected gift was a choice made by both parents." She added, "The child was born and is growing up with the blessings and love of the mother and family."

Moon emphasized, "There were definitely moments of excitement, laughter, and happiness with the child in the womb," and said, "However, simply because the current relationship between the two is somewhat different, it is not right to conclude that this child is a mistake or will grow up unhappy."

She said, "It is just a mother's heart hoping the world will bless the birth of the child," and earnestly requested, "I sincerely hope that no more unreasonable speculation or false information about me and the child will be spread."

It has been reported that Moon gave birth to Jung Woo-sung's son last March. She announced the birth on her SNS on the 22nd of last month. Afterwards, Jung Woo-sung stated on the stage of the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards on the 29th of the same month, "As a father, I will fulfill my responsibilities to my son until the end."
