December Last Weekend, Nationwide Protests Calling for President Yoon's Impeachment

On the 28th, rallies calling for the impeachment and resignation of President Yoon Seok-yeol will be held across the country. In each region, rallies demanding impeachment and resignation have been held every weekend since the 21st, following the passage of the impeachment motion against President Yoon Seok-yeol in the National Assembly on the 14th.

In Busan, from 4 p.m. on the same day, the "Busan Citizens' Rally for the Arrest and Dismissal of Yoon Seok-yeol" will be held around Seomyeon Nori Maru, hosted by the Busan Emergency Action for Immediate Resignation of Yoon Seok-yeol and Social Reform. Citizens are expected to participate in free speeches, flag performances, and chants demanding arrest and detention. Participants plan to march from Nori Maru, passing through Seomyeon Rotary and in front of Lotte Department Store, ending at Sang Sang Madang.

On the same day in Gyeongnam, the "Jinju Emergency Action for the Resignation of Yoon Seok-yeol" will host the "Jinju Citizens' Rally Urging the Arrest of Yoon Seok-yeol" near Woori Bank in Daehan-dong, Jinju. They will call for the impeachment and arrest of President Yoon and plan to march to the office of Park Dae-chul, a member of the People Power Party representing the local district.

At 5 p.m. on the same day, the "Gyeongnam Emergency Action for Immediate Resignation and Social Reform of Yoon Seok-yeol" will hold the "Changwon Citizens' Rally Urging the Arrest of Yoon Seok-yeol" at Changwon Square in Changwon City. The rally will feature activities such as "Writing the World I Wish For," certification photos of the Nam Taeryeong struggle tractor, and musical performances.

The Daegu Citizens' Council will hold the "Daegu Citizens' Rally for Immediate Dismissal of Yoon Seok-yeol and Dissolution of the People Power Party" around 5 p.m. on Dongseong-ro in Jung-gu, Daegu. Approximately 800 people are expected to attend the rally. After the rally, participants plan to march along a 3.2 km route through Gongpyeong Rotary, Bongsan Rotary, Banwoldang, Jungang Rotary, and the Daegu City Government Office area.

The Jeonbuk Movement Headquarters for the Resignation of Yoon Seok-yeol, composed of about 60 civic and social organizations in the Jeonbuk region, will hold the "Jeonbuk Residents' Rally for the Resignation of Yoon Seok-yeol" from 4 p.m. in front of Jeonju Gyeoksa on Chunggyeong-ro. The movement headquarters expects 1,000 to 2,000 citizens to participate. Three tractors from the Jeonbuk Federation of the National Farmers' Union Jeon Bong-jun Struggle Unit will also join the rally.
