"Yoon, Easily Deceived, Rude, and Incompetent" Criticism
Cho Gap-je, a senior figure and leading commentator in the conservative camp and the representative of Jogapje.com, sharply stated, "President Yoon Seok-yeol is incompetent and by no means conservative."
On the 27th, Cho appeared on SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show' to share his views on conservatism. He began by defining conservatives as people who take responsibility. He added, "(Conservatives) must be competent because they have to take responsibility for those yet to be born," and described conservatives as people who strictly distinguish between public and private matters and enjoy life stylishly.

Cho said, "In that regard, President Yoon is on the complete opposite side," criticizing him as "easily deceived, disrespectful to the people, and incompetent." He further stated, "The most incompetent thing about President Yoon was shown when he, having never served in the military, declared martial law," and sarcastically remarked, "President Yoon's martial law was a preventive attack to protect First Lady Kim Keon-hee, and combined with delusions of election fraud, it would make a good comedy film." He added a bitter comment, "But comedy or farce, if taken to the end, becomes a tragedy."
Cho quoted from Kim Seong-han's novel on the Imjin War, 'The Seven Years' War,' saying, "'An incompetent ruler is a historical criminal who deserves to be beheaded ten thousand times,'" explaining, "Ten thousand beheadings mean even that would not be enough, reflecting how many people died because of incompetent rulers like King Seonjo in our history."
He claimed, "The December 3 martial law was a delusional, spasmodic declaration of martial law," and argued, "Considering the proclamation and other factors, the main targets seemed to be not Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party, but Han Dong-hoon, then the National Election Commission, and then doctors." He also said, "President Yoon, under the influence of election fraud conspiracy theories, raided the National Election Commission to seize servers for forensic investigation and separate investigations, fabricating the logic that 'the April general election was fraudulent,' 'those elected through fraud control the National Assembly,' and 'therefore, this National Assembly must be punished,' which seems to have been the basis for initiating martial law. The fact that the opposition holds a majority was chosen by the people and should be humbly accepted; claiming election fraud itself is treason."

During the broadcast, the host asked Cho why he criticized the People Power Party using expressions like "pro-traitor group" and "party protecting rebellion." Cho responded, "The enemy in 'pro-traitor' is Kim Jong-un. But the results of what President Yoon and the People Power Party are doing all benefit Kim Jong-un." He raised his voice, saying, "Because of protecting rebellion and blocking impeachment, the trilateral alliance between South Korea, the U.S., and Japan has been shaken. The People Power Party is dividing the conservative forces. The left-wing camp is united and eyeing the next administration, and when all this combines, it ultimately helps Kim Jong-un."
He added, "The People Power Party never checked President Yoon's mistakes and kept applauding him," and said, "If they had stopped even one of President Yoon's mistakes, the declaration of martial law would not have happened."
