On the 26th, Lee Chung-woo, Mayor of Yeoju City, appointed Kim Ki-ok, former non-standing director of Wonju Facilities Management Corporation, Kim Yoon-gyu, former head of the Southwest Project Division at Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Regional Development Headquarters, Lee Rae-pung, current professor at Yeoju University, and Chae Kwang-sik, former head of Yeoheung-dong, Yeoju City, as non-standing directors of Yeoju Urban Corporation at the appointment ceremony held in the mayor’s office at Yeoju City Hall.

The newly appointed non-standing directors were finally selected through a public recruitment and recommendation by the Yeoju Urban Corporation Executive Recommendation Committee, and will serve as members of the corporation’s board of directors for three years from 2025 to 2027, responsible for deliberating and resolving major management policies of the corporation.
Mayor Lee Chung-woo of Yeoju City stated, “Since its official launch this year, Yeoju Urban Corporation has been undertaking not only the existing public facility management agency tasks but also newly promoting projects such as the industrial complex development project and the Jungang-dong 1 District Urban Regeneration New Deal Project. Starting next year, we plan to accelerate these projects in earnest.” He added, “Although there will be challenges during this period of change, I hope you will leverage your professional knowledge and experience to support the corporation’s management.”
Yeoju Urban Corporation, newly launched in January 2024 from the former Yeoju Urban Management Corporation, is organized into one office, one department, and nine teams, carrying out public facility management agency tasks and development projects for Yeoju City.
