Mayor Lee Urges Mutual Cooperation Between Agencies to Support Small Businesses for Revitalizing the Livelihood Economy

On that day, Mayor Lee visited the Gyeongbuk Credit Guarantee Foundation and the Small Enterprise and Market Service in succession, awarding plaques of appreciation to employees, encouraging them, and urging mutual cooperation between institutions.
Mayor Lee Gang-deok stated, “We will promote livelihood economy revival and small business support policies for small business owners struggling due to the prolonged economic downturn during the year-end and New Year period,” and added, “I ask for wholehearted efforts to support local small businesses and foster mutual cooperation.”
Pohang City has decided to explore ways to ease loan conditions for low-credit borrowers in cooperation with the Credit Guarantee Foundation, and is significantly expanding financial support for small business owners by securing resources worth 200 billion KRW to provide detailed financial assistance such as special guarantee support and interest subsidy support.
