This amendment to the urban planning ordinance reflects the revisions to the 'Enforcement Decree of the National Land Planning and Utilization Act' and was implemented to promote regional economic revitalization and create a pleasant residential environment by establishing new approval standards for certain buildings and relaxing the scale criteria for development activity permits.

The detailed contents include ▲ allowing the establishment of rest restaurants in production management areas (limited permission within the scope of the Enforcement Rules of the National Land Planning Act) ▲ relaxation of development activity permit scale (from 5,000㎡ to 10,000㎡ in conservation management areas, from 10,000㎡ to 20,000㎡ in production management areas) ▲ establishment of approval standards for resource circulation-related facilities and large-scale warehouse facilities ▲ allowing (residential) defense and military facilities in Type 1 General Residential Areas ▲ inclusion of 'Cadastral Resurvey Project Districts' and 'Lands Subject to Registration Correction' in the Land Use Plan Confirmation Certificate.

More specific details of the urban planning ordinance amendments can be found on the 'National Law Information Center' of the Ministry of Government Legislation or on the Paju City website's 'Paju City Bulletin' board.
