National Pukyong National University (President Bae Sang-hoon) ranked first among institutions under the Ministry of Education in the Public Procurement Service's '2024 Government Goods Management Comprehensive Evaluation.'
The Government Goods Management Comprehensive Evaluation is a system that assesses the management status of goods for national institutions to promote efficient goods management. This year's evaluation was conducted based on the previous year's goods management data, targeting 1,933 central government offices and affiliated institutions nationwide.
National Pukyong National University received a final score of 86.239, significantly surpassing the overall institution average of 73.78, and was rated the best among 95 institutions under the Ministry of Education.
National Pukyong National University received excellent scores in all evaluation categories, including systematic management of the goods management system, expansion of the goods recycling system, financial savings through free support of unused goods to vulnerable groups, goods utilization, goods management, policy evaluation, and capacity building.
Additionally, three employees of National Pukyong National University?Seo Doo-soon, Kim Soon-chul, and Noh Hyun-ho?were awarded ministerial commendations for their contributions to government goods and state property management.
For contributions to government goods management, Kim Soon-chul, a staff member, received a commendation from the Minister of Strategy and Finance, and Seo Doo-soon, team leader, received a commendation from the Minister of Education. Noh Hyun-ho, a staff member, received a commendation from the Minister of Education for contributions to state property management, recognizing their excellent capabilities in goods management.
