Goyang City Holds Final Report Meeting on Performance Diagnosis Service for Drainage Pump Station Facilities

Sharing Equipment Status and Improvement Plans for 35 Drainage Pump Stations in Goyang City

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 27th that it held the ‘Final Report Meeting on the Performance Diagnosis Service of Goyang City Drainage Pump Station Facilities’ at the city hall disaster situation room on the 24th.

The meeting was attended by 20 people, including the Goyang City Disaster Response Officer and the Safety Management Advisory Group, to share the performance diagnosis results and improvement plans for 35 drainage pump station facilities, and to listen to opinions through a Q&A session.

The performance diagnosis of drainage pump station facilities is a project conducted to comprehensively inspect the condition of 35 drainage pump stations in the jurisdiction due to the aging of the drainage pump stations and to derive improvement measures.

The diagnosis confirmed facilities requiring performance improvement, such as replacement of high-efficiency vibration isolators and installation of UPS facility status monitoring systems, and sequential improvement measures will be implemented.

Park Seong-wan, Disaster Response Officer, stated, “We will actively incorporate the opinions of the Safety Management Advisory Group from this performance diagnosis to enhance the stability and efficiency of the drainage pump stations and strive to ensure the lives and property of citizens.”
