Year-End Special Funding Project with Social Economy Enterprises
Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) will hold the "Namyangju Social Economy Happybean Exhibition" on Naver's online donation portal "Happybean" starting from the 26th to promote the value of social economy enterprises in the region and support their sales channels for the year-end season.
The exhibition will feature five companies: △ Namyangju Social Enterprise Council △ Jigu Citizen Co., Ltd. △ Aqua Curing Co., Ltd. △ Cooperative Store Cooperative △ Youth Health Activity Promotion Foundation.
The Namyangju Social Enterprise Council is promoting the "Public Character Goods Development Project." This project breaks away from the common practice of most goods being produced in China through OEM methods by involving local social economy enterprises and small business owners directly in the production and distribution processes, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
Through the exhibition, environmentally friendly products such as calendars made from eco-friendly recycled paper will be showcased, and funding will also be conducted for the development of more diverse goods.
In addition, Jigu Citizen Co., Ltd. has prepared the "Eco-friendly Kitchen Kit" and "Eco-friendly Travel Kit" to practice zero-waste living, and Aqua Curing Co., Ltd. will present a terrarium DIY kit for psychological healing and the year-end atmosphere.
The Cooperative Store Cooperative offers healthy foods such as sesame oil, perilla oil, citron extract, and balloon flower syrup made in traditional ways using local agricultural products, while the Youth Health Activity Promotion Foundation has prepared eco-friendly wet towels for young family caregivers.
A Namyangju City official said, "We hope this exhibition will raise awareness of the value and appeal of social economy enterprises among citizens and provide practical support for sales channels and growth for the companies," adding, "We will continue to prepare various support measures that can grow together with the local community."
