Yeongyang-gun Selected as an Excellent Local Government for 'Organizational and Workforce Operation Efficiency'

Special Grant Incentive Beneficiary of 100 Million Won

Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, was selected as an excellent local government in the '2024 Organization and Personnel Operation Efficiency Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

Every year, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety comprehensively evaluates the efficiency and appropriateness of organization and personnel operations of local governments nationwide and provides incentives to outstanding local governments.

Yeongyang-gun received high marks for actively reallocating personnel to meet new administrative demands while reducing the number of staff for efficient personnel management.

Governor O Do-chang said, "This achievement is the result of employees' efforts such as consolidating tasks due to personnel reduction and discovering tasks to be cut," adding, "We will continue to promote resident-centered policies through transparent and efficient administration."

The special grant of 100 million won received through this evaluation will be used to improve administrative services for residents and regional development projects.
