Namwon City Recognized as an Excellent Institution for Land and Cadastral Management by North Jeolla Province

Evaluation of Business Promotion Performance and Others

Namwon City in North Jeolla Province announced on the 26th that it has been selected as an outstanding institution in the "2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of Land and Cadastral Management" hosted by North Jeolla Province.


This evaluation comprehensively assessed the performance of 14 cities and counties in the province across 17 items in 5 categories, including business execution results, cadastral surveying and reference point management, real estate official land price calculation, cadastral resurvey tasks, address information management, handling of various civil complaints, and exemplary cases.

In particular, the city received high marks for initiatives such as the "On-site Cadastral Civil Service Reception," which was promoted as a city policy project and received great response from residents; the installation of "Beautiful Building Number Plates at Kim Byungjong Art Museum" utilizing incentives for outstanding address policy management; and the distribution of "Road Name Address Guide Maps to Multi-use Facilities" to promote residents' safety.


Kim Minju, head of the Civil Affairs Division, said, "Being selected as an outstanding institution for land and cadastral management this year, marking our sixth consecutive year receiving top or outstanding awards, is very meaningful. We will continue to do our best to provide prompt and accurate land and cadastral civil services centered on our citizens."
