Appointment Letters Presented to Three Non-Standing Directors: Yoo Byungsoo, Lee Byungchan, and Lee Seunggi
On the 26th, Seosan City in South Chungcheong Province announced that it held an appointment ceremony for the inaugural four executives of the Seosan City Facilities Management Corporation at the mayor's office in City Hall.
Kim Seongho, former head of the Seosan City New Growth Business Division, was appointed as the chairman, while Yu Byeongsu, Lee Byeongchan, and Lee Seunggi were appointed as non-executive directors.
The inaugural executives will serve a three-year term from the date of the corporation's establishment, with the possibility of renewal on a yearly basis depending on management performance.
In October, the city formed an executive recommendation committee consisting of seven members recommended by the mayor and the city council. Through an open recruitment process, document screening, interview evaluations, and executive candidate recommendations, the executives were appointed on this day.
According to Articles 58 and 76 of the Local Public Enterprises Act, the chairman selects and appoints one of the two candidates recommended by the executive recommendation committee for the position of full-time director.
Chairman Kim Seongho stated, "I feel a great sense of responsibility as I am now leading a large organization that will integrate the projects previously managed by each department of Seosan City," and added, "To ensure the early stabilization of the organization, I will practice ESG, safety, innovation, harmony, and transparent management."
Mayor Lee Wanseop said, "I expect that, based on your rich experience in public service, you will lead the corporation excellently," and requested, "Since the projects to be carried out by the Facilities Management Corporation are closely related to the lives of citizens, please do your best to ensure the early stabilization of the corporation."
Meanwhile, the eight projects to be entrusted to the Facilities Management Corporation include public sewage treatment facilities, public wastewater treatment facilities, biogas facilities, public parking lots, Daesan Bus Terminal, recycling sorting facilities, the sale of volume-based waste bags, and hydrogen charging stations.
