Operating at Junghwa Sports Park from the 27th to February 9, 2025
Large and small slopes and various winter play experience events provided for healthy leisure activities
A children's sledding hill is coming to Jungnang-gu.
Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) will operate the Jungnang-gu Children's Sledding Hill for local children from December 27 this year to February 9 next year to celebrate the winter vacation.
The opening ceremony will be held on the 27th at Junghwa Sports Park on the banks of Jungnangcheon Stream.
The sledding hill was created to provide children with winter leisure sports experiences and to promote healthy leisure activities.
Main facilities include two large and small slopes, a snow play hill, an ice sledding area, and various play facilities, along with a variety of winter play experience programs.
The sledding hill operates daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will be closed every Monday and during the Lunar New Year holidays (January 28 and 29) for safety inspections.
The facility is open to children under 18 years old, including infants, children, and adolescents. Admission is free, but some play facilities require a fee.
The district prioritizes the safety of sledding hill users by deploying safety personnel on site and thoroughly inspecting the facilities.
Also, since there is no parking lot available, visitors are encouraged to use public transportation.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “I hope our growing children can create precious winter memories with their parents at the Jungnang-gu Children's Sledding Hill,” and added, “As many residents are expected to visit, we will do our best to prevent safety accidents.”
