Korean Disaster Management Theory, Practical and Theoretical Disaster Management Research

Professor Dong-gyu Lee was selected as the award recipient through the society's review in recognition of his authorship of Korean Disaster Management Theory, contributing to academic development and knowledge dissemination based on outstanding academic insight and in-depth research.
The Korean Disaster Management Society Writing Award is given to encourage excellent research and writing in the field of disaster management and to recognize academic contributions.
Professor Dong-gyu Lee's Korean Disaster Management Theory contains comprehensive content covering disaster management theory and practice, and has been praised for analyzing cases related to domestic and international disaster management policies, Korea's legal system, and issues, providing practical solutions.
Professor Dong-gyu Lee has contributed to academic development through research in the field of disaster management, including this book, and his research is used as an important reference for practitioners.
Earlier, in May, he also received a commendation from the Speaker of the National Assembly for his academic research and legislative support activities related to national disaster management.
Professor Dong-gyu Lee said, "This award is a great honor given by colleagues conducting the same research. I am pleased that my continuous efforts and dedication to domestic disaster management research have been recognized," adding, "I will continue to strive for the systematic development of disaster management in Korea."
The Graduate School of Disaster Management at Dong-A University allows students to participate in various research projects with faculty members, helping them develop research skills and make academic contributions.
