Promoting Digital Innovation in Public Sports Facility Management Based on AI-IoT Technology

Gyeonggi Yangju Urban Corporation (President Lee Heung-gyu) announced on the 26th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EMCITY Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Bong-ho) on the 17th to digitally transform the management of public sports facilities.

This agreement was established to provide citizens with a safer and more convenient environment for using sports facilities by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). By introducing cutting-edge technology to all public sports facilities managed by the corporation, it plans to drastically improve facility management and citizen safety.

The main contents of the agreement include △ the introduction of a remote monitoring system to enhance facility safety △ support for new technology testbeds △ activation of a mobile remote control system

and the establishment of an immediate alert and response system in case of fire or accidents to promptly ensure citizen safety.

President Lee Heung-gyu stated, “This agreement is part of our efforts to provide local residents with a safe and convenient sports facility environment,” adding, “We will actively utilize advanced technology to create public services that local residents can take pride in.”
