On this day, Kots Technology announced that it signed a supply contract with Hanwha Systems for the 4th batch production of K21 armored vehicles. The contract size is 6.9 billion KRW, which corresponds to 13.56% of Kots Technology's sales last year. The contract period is from this day until June 12, 2028.
As of the end of the third quarter this year, Kots Technology's accumulated order backlog stands at 94.8 billion KRW, and this supply contract is expected to have a positive impact on sales stability and the expansion of the order backlog.
This contract is part of the 709.3 billion KRW 'K21 Infantry Fighting Vehicle 4th Batch Production' project that Hanwha Aerospace signed with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration on the 17th. The 4th batch production of K21 armored vehicles aims to complete the reorganization of the Army's maneuver corps and replace the existing armored vehicle (K200A1), and is expected to further strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic defense industry. Through this contract, Kots Technology plans to supply embedded systems for the K21 armored vehicles and strengthen its position in the defense industry.
