Business Operators to Be Selected in March
Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 26th that it will invite applications for campground operators to enhance leisure and living convenience for residents within the Greenbelt (GB) area.
Installation of campgrounds within the GB is conditionally allowed after reviewing qualification requirements and installation standards, and the number of installations is limited by city and county.
Hanam City has been allocated six campground installation slots within the Greenbelt by Gyeonggi Province and has selected operators for five of these sites so far. With one remaining slot available, the city plans to select an additional operator through this public recruitment.
Applicants must have resided in the Greenbelt for more than 10 years or have been residents at the time of designation. Applications can also be submitted by village communities. The site area must be less than 10,000㎡ and meet conditions such as having an access road that complies with the Road Act standards.
Applicants wishing to apply should complete the application form posted on the city hall website's public notice and prepare the necessary documents, then visit and submit them to the Architecture Department of City Hall between January 13 and 17, 2025.
Hanam City plans to comprehensively review qualifications and business plans through document screening and select and notify the operator by March.
The selected operator must apply for an activity permit within six months from the date of notification and commence construction within six months after obtaining the permit, fulfilling all related procedures.
