At this event, donors who expressed their intention to participate in the Hometown Love Donation from last month to the end of this month delivered a total of 26.4 million won in donations.

The number of people who participated in this round of donations alone reached 254.

The recent surge in Hometown Love Donations at the end of the year is attributed to the district office's encouragement of local schools and businesses to participate in the donation program.

In fact, since September, district office officials have visited 50 schools and 29 workplaces with more than 50 employees in the area, urging support for designated donation projects aimed at community development and helping vulnerable residents.

Kim Byungnae, the district mayor, said, "I am grateful that everyone has come together with one heart and mind to promote the Hometown Love Donation program and the development of our region. The donations sent by our supporters will be used for truly meaningful purposes," adding, "This donation will serve as an opportunity to further vitalize Hometown Love Donations for Nam-gu."
