The ‘Barrier free Kiosk’ is an unmanned information terminal equipped with various functions such as ▲voice recognition ordering ▲low-position ordering ▲standard earphone jack and volume control for the visually impaired ▲mobile phone mirroring, allowing people with disabilities and the elderly to use kiosks conveniently.

Through this business agreement, The Born Korea franchisees who wish to introduce the ‘Barrier free Kiosk’ can receive partial support for installation costs if they meet the support conditions, reducing the financial burden related to the costs. This project has been promoted by Shinhan Bank as part of its livelihood finance support autonomous program and win-win finance for small business owners, and it was made possible through collaboration among the bank, telecommunications company, franchise headquarters, and kiosk manufacturers.

A Shinhan Bank official said, “This business agreement was prepared to reduce the burden on small business owners and expand win-win finance support in line with the mandatory introduction of the ‘Barrier free Kiosk’ starting in January next year,” adding, “We will continue to actively engage in developing various support projects and financial products that respond to social demands for win-win finance and strive to fulfill corporate social responsibility.”
