On the 26th, Kim Chang-beom, the full-time vice chairman of the Korea Economic Association, along with executives and employees, participated in a lunchbox cooking volunteer activity at the Western Volunteer Center of the Korean Red Cross in Sinwol-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.

The Korea Economic Association stated that its members prepared lunchboxes that day and delivered them to vulnerable groups such as grandparent-headed households within Yangcheon-gu.

They also handed over a donation for the 'Love-Filled Home Meals' project, which regularly provides lunchboxes to vulnerable children, to the Korean Red Cross. The project is scheduled to run for eight months starting January next year, targeting 50 vulnerable children’s households including grandparent-headed and food-insecure families. Volunteers will prepare three types of side dishes once a week and deliver them to the supported households, while also conducting regular welfare checks and providing emotional support.

Vice Chairman Kim said, "The more difficult the times, the more our society must pay attention to those in welfare blind spots," adding, "The Korea Economic Association will also strive to help marginalized neighbors continue to find happiness and hope."
