25% of 'Winterspa Cabi' Visitors, Online Buzz Volume Doubles
Offering Moomin Collaboration Experience and Free Usage Benefits
Caribbean Bay's 'Winter Spa Cabin,' a water park operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division at Everland, has emerged as a 'hot place' for winter outing visitors. It has gained positive responses from visitors by creating a Nordic atmosphere through collaboration with the popular Finnish character Moomin.

Samsung C&T announced on the 26th that since the beginning of this month, when the Winter Spa Cabin concept started operating for the winter season, the number of visitors to Everland Caribbean Bay has exceeded 20,000. This represents about a 25% increase compared to the same period last year, when visitor numbers had significantly increased.
As customer posts increased on social networking services (SNS) and communities, online buzz volume more than doubled compared to the same period last year. Caribbean Bay content on Everland's SNS channels surpassed 1 million views.
Everland explained that visitors of various age groups, including families, friends, and couples, are visiting Caribbean Bay.
It was noted that the Winter Spa Cabin, now in its third season, has strengthened experiential elements by expanding new outdoor facilities and attractions over the past three years, such as cypress (hinoki) open-air baths and Finnish-style saunas.
Everland announced that when it first introduced the Winter Spa Cabin in January last year, it opened the Adventure Spa, consisting of two outdoor zones and seven cypress baths, providing customers with a premium open-air spa experience.
Last year, one more open-air bath was added to the Adventure Spa to expand the outdoor spa facilities. This winter, a Finnish-style cylindrical sauna was newly installed.
Especially this winter, through collaboration with the popular Finnish character Moomin, photo spots have been increased. Various winter foods and experiential elements such as the Moomin Fish Cake Bar and Moomin Dive have been expanded.
A Moomin Dive photo spot was set up in the indoor diving pool to allow visitors to take fun photos with Moomin. Visitors who share their diving photos on SNS receive Moomin sheep horn towels and fish cake skewer exchange coupons on a first-come, first-served basis.
A treasure hunt event is also ongoing until the end of February next year. Visitors who find golden coins in treasure chests hidden throughout Caribbean Bay receive character goods, warm winter snacks, and other gifts daily to the first 15 people.
The 'One Plus One Two Park' event, which allows visitors to enjoy both Caribbean Bay and Everland in one day, is also underway. Customers visiting Caribbean Bay until March 3 next year can enjoy the Wintertopia winter festival for free from 3 p.m. on the same day.
An Everland official said, "More than 50% of users are responding positively, visiting Everland together through the Two Park event."
Meanwhile, at Winter Caribbean Bay, all pools are operated at temperatures above 30 to 40 degrees Celsius using eco-friendly heating that utilizes waste heat regeneration energy. Not only spa facilities but also water play facilities such as wave pools, water slides, and kids' pools can be enjoyed warmly.
