Man in His 60s Found Dead in Vehicle on Highway Shoulder

A man in his 60s was found dead in a van parked on the shoulder of a highway. The man, who was a church pastor, is not suspected of having been murdered.

According to the police on the 25th, at around 5:10 p.m. on the 24th, a man was found dead in a van parked on the shoulder near Ilsan IC on the Metropolitan Area 1st Ring Expressway in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province. The deceased man was discovered by police patrolling the highway, seated in the second row of the vehicle, and was stabbed with a sharp weapon. Police investigation confirmed that the man was Mr. A, a pastor in his 60s from a church in Seoul. Considering there is no suspicion of a crime, the police plan to close the case without an autopsy.
